The baggage acceptance rules at Bahrain International Airport make check-in and check-out procedures faster and more efficient for passengers.

1. Bags must have at least one flat surface. Irregularly shaped baggage tied with a rope around or irregularly shaped baggage.
2. Baggage with long or loose straps that may affect the movement of the baggage handling system will not be accepted.
3. Regular out-of-gauge and odd-shaped items such as baby strollers, bicycles, wheelchairs, and gold bags will be scanned through the out-of-gauge screenings.

The out-of-gauge scanner is used for baggage that exceeds normal dimensions or is not suitable to be sorted with normal conveyor belts. One is located at the beginning of island B (West Side), and the second is located at the end of island E (East Side).

Hala Bahrain is the meet and assists service provider at Bahrain International Airport. Whether you are arriving or departing, Hala Bahrain agents are ready to serve you during your journey. You can find Hala Bahrain agents at any of our information desks, which are located in the departure and arrivals halls.

You can find your gate by following the signage throughout the terminal, visiting our information desks, or using our information kiosks. Please note that the gate numbers start from the west side of the terminal and end at the east.

There are two lounges in the Departures area. The Pearl Lounge is located west of the departure hall after the Duty-free, and the Falcon Gold Lounge is east of the departures hall.
